Olympus OM-D E-M1: Touch & Try Kuching

Yeap, you heard it right, this is the second PhotoDiary update to my blog (after all these while, I know!). This will be a short, brief entry talking about the special event held by Olympus Malaysia. It was a great gathering between photo enthusiasts and even professionals from all around Kuching, and have our hands-on to try the amazing photo machine, the latest and greatest OM-D E-M1. Tadaaa...... Well, let's skip the intro and get to the point eh?

Kudos to Full House Restaurant at The Hills, who I believe is the organizing partner to this event. The event went on quite well, and the most interesting part came to the very end of the event. Eat! Nah, kidding. Definitely, everyone was wanting to play around with the new beast and a vast varieties of Zuiko and M.Zuiko lenses!

Did I mentioned from the beginning? This event was organized by Olympus Malaysia, and the cool, friendly, street-shooting famous blogger is IN DA HOUSE!! Yes, when we put Olympus and blogger together in one equation, we are talking about Robin Wong! I had a great time with him that evening, but too bad we didn't get the chance to do a Shutter Therapy (Robin Wong, 2013) near the old streets of Kuching.

From the origins of Shutter Therapy, Robin Wong!!

Let's enjoy the rest of the photos taken in the event!

Note: Photos are all taken with Olympus OM-D E-M5 and E-M1, with variety of lenses from the M.Zuiko's (17/1.8, 45/1.8, 60/2.8, 75/1.8, 9-18/4-5.6) and Zuiko (50-200/2.8-3.5).

Well, I went to an indoor street shooting near Plaza Merdeka after the event by myself, because the bad weather in Kuching didn't allow me for outdoor streets.

Guess I am out of portrait subjects??

I have to say, thank you to Robin for the wonderful afternoon together with so many friends. Keep rockin' with Olympus, Robin! All the best and may God bless you abundantly! GK.
